1/2 Hizb 46

Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 (We said): 'Stamp your foot on the ground, here is cool water with which to wash and a drink' 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 And (it was said unto him): Take in thine hand a branch and smite therewith, and break not thine oath. Lo! We found him steadfast, how excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 in which they will recline, and call for abundant fruit and drink therein. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 'This is a troop rushing in with you; there is no Welcome for them; they shall roast in the Fire.' 59 (The followers shall cry to the misleaders:) "Nay, ye (too)! No welcome for you! It is ye who have brought this upon us! Now evil is (this) place to stay in!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! Whoever brought this upon us, add to him a double torment in the Fire!" 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 “Did we mock at them or did our eyes turn away from them?” 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
