Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 And We bestowed on him his household and along with them the like thereof, out of mercy from us, and a remembrance unto men of understanding. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 Lo! We purified them with a pure thought, remembrance of the Home (of the Hereafter). 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 gardens of perpetual bliss, with gates wide-open to them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 'This is what you were promised for the Day of Reckoning; 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 hell will they have to endure - and how vile a resting-place! 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 [And] they will pray: "O our Sustainer! Whoever has prepared this for us, double Thou his suffering in the fire!" 61 They say, 'How is it with us, that we do not see men here that we counted among the wicked? 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
