Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And in Our sight, they are indeed the chosen ones, the beloved. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 This is so! And for the Taghun (transgressors, disobedient to Allah and His Messenger - disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, criminals, etc.), will be an evil final return (Fire), 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 This - so let them taste it - is scalding water and [foul] purulence. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 This is an army plunging in without consideration along with you; no welcome for them, surely they shall enter fire. 59 But they will say: 'No, it is you that has no welcome. It was you who brought it upon us, an evil place' 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64
