And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 We told him, "Take a handful of straw. Strike your wife with it to fulfill your oath." We found him to be patient. What an excellent servant he was. He was certainly most repenting. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 and in Our sight they are of the chosen, the excellent. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise), 49 The gardens of perpetuity, the doors are opened for them. 50 They will be comfortably seated; reclining, they will call for abundant fruit and drink; 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what they had been promised for the Day of Judgment. 53 (It will be said to them)! Verily, this is Our Provision which will never finish; 54 This [is so]. But indeed, for the transgressors is an evil place of return - 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 There will be boiling water for them and cold, clammy, fetid drink to taste, 57 And other (punishment) of the same kind-- of various sorts. 58 (We shall say to their leaders): 'This is a troop rushing in with you, there is no welcome for them, they shall roast in the Fire' 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64
