And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 "And take in thy hand a little grass, and strike therewith: and break not (thy oath)." Truly We found him full of patience and constancy. How excellent in Our service! ever did he turn (to Us)! 44 And remember Our bondmen Ibrahim, and Ishaq, and Yaqub – the men of power and knowledge. 45 We indeed gave them distinction with a genuine affair – the remembrance of the (everlasting) abode. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 #NAME? 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This, [then, for them] so let them taste it: burning despair and ice-cold darkness 57 and other torments of the like kind coupled together. 58 This is a troop entering with you (in Hell), no welcome for them! Verily, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 (The followers of the misleaders will say): "Nay, you (too)! No welcome for you! It is you (misleaders) who brought this upon us (because you misled us in the world), so evil is this place to stay in!" 60 They say, “Our Lord! Whoever has brought this calamity upon us – double the punishment of the fire for him!” 61 And they will add: "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we were wont to count among the wicked, 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
