And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 [and thereupon was told:] "Strike [the ground] with thy foot: here is cool water to wash with and to drink!" 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is an admonition, and verily for the God-fearing is a happy retreat: 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 Reclining on pillows, in it they ask for fruits and drinks in plenty. 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is Our provision for you, never to end. 54 However, the rebellious ones will have the worst place to return. 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 This contending of the inmates of Hell will surely be real. 64
