1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
And remember Our servant Ayyub, when he called upon his Lord: The Shaitan has afflicted me with toil and torment. 41 "Go swiftly to the spring," (We said). "This cold water is for bathing and for drinking." 42 And We granted him his family and a like [number] with them as mercy from Us and a reminder for those of understanding. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 Remember Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob -- possessors of strength and vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Reclining therein, calling therein for many fruits and drink. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 Indeed this is Our sustenance, which will never end. 54 This is for the virtuous; and indeed for the rebellious is a wretched destination. 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 All this (is for them); so let them taste boiling water and pus, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 adding, "Our Lord, give double punishment to those who brought this upon us." 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Is it [because] we took them in ridicule, or has [our] vision turned away from them?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
