(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 Lo! in Our sight they are verily of the elect, the excellent. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be virgins of refraining looks and of equal age. 52 This it is what you (Al-Muttaqun - the pious) are promised for the Day of Reckoning! 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell; which they shall enter; what an evil resting-place! 56 Yea, such! - then shall they taste it,- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold!- 57 and other such torments. 58 “Here is another group that was with you, falling along with you”; they will answer, “Do not give them plenty of open space; they surely have to enter the fire – let them also be confined!” 59 They will say, "Nor you! No welcome for you. You, [our leaders], brought this upon us, and wretched is the settlement." 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 And they shall say: What is the matter with us that we do not see men whom we used to count among the vicious? 62 Did we take them (wrongly) for a laughing-stock, or have our eyes missed them? 63 Indeed this is really true – the people of the hell quarrelling among themselves. 64
