Also, remember Our worshiper Job. He called out to his Lord, (saying): 'satan has afflicted me with harm and pain' 41 Stamp the ground with thy foot, yonder is water to wash in, cool, and water to drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We! We distinguished them with a distinct quality: the remembrance of the Abode. 46 They are the chosen ones, the excellent in Our sight. 47 And commemorate Isma'il, Elisha, and Zul-Kifl: Each of them was of the Company of the Good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Verily this is Our provision: there will be no ceasing thereof. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 They will say to one another: “But why do we not see those whom we considered him among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
