Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
