Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
