(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
