Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
