Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
