Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
