SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
