Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
