Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
