Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
