Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say, "It is great news 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
