Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
