Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 save Iblis; he waxed proud, and was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
