Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
