Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which you turn away! 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 "And verily!, My Curse is on you till the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
