Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Till the appointed day." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
