Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
