Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
