(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
