Say: 'I am only a warner. Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
