Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – the Almighty, the Oft Forgiving.” 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 except Iblis. He waxed proud and became one of the unbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
