Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 After I have created him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down, prostrating yourselves to him.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he; Thou hast created me of fire, and him Thou didst create of dust. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 Said He, 'Thou art among the ones that are respited 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
