Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am only a warner and there is no Ilah (God) except Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) the One, the Irresistible, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
