Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
