Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
