Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam]. 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: 'I am creating a human from clay, 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 “And indeed My curse is upon you till the Day of Judgement.” 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He (Allah) said: 'This is the truth, and I speak the truth: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
