Saad 5 of 5
Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
