Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say, "It (facts about the supremacy of God) is the greatest message, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
