Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
