Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say thou: it is a tiding mighty. 67 "From which you turn away! 68 "No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
