SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a man from clay; 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
