Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 [That] I will surely fill Hell with you and those of them that follow you all together." 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
