Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 Naught is revealed unto me except that I am a warner manifest. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
