Is one whose heart Allah has opened to Islam, so that he has received Enlightenment from Allah, (no better than one hard-hearted)? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against celebrating the praises of Allah! they are manifestly wandering (in error)! 22 Allah has revealed the best announcement, a book conformable in its various parts, repeating, whereat do shudder the skins of those who fear their Lord, then their skins and their hearts become pliant to the remembrance of Allah; this is Allah's guidance, He guides with it whom He pleases; and (as for) him whom Allah makes err, there is no guide for him. 23 Is he whose face is cautious of the evil of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (to be compared to the unbeliever)! To the evildoers it shall be said: 'Now taste that which you have been earning' 24 Those before them denied, and punishment came upon them from where they did not perceive. 25 So Allah made them taste degradation in the life of this world, and certainly the chastisement of the Hereafter will be much more grievous. Would that they knew! 26 And indeed We have put forth for men, in this Quran every kind of similitude in order that they may remember. 27 An Arabic Qur'an, wherein there is no crookedness, that haply they may fear. 28 Allah has struck an example of a man shared by disagreeing partners, and a man who is owned by just one man, are the two equally alike? Praise belongs to Allah, but most of them do not know. 29 Indeed, you are to die, and indeed, they are to die. 30 In the end will ye (all), on the Day of Judgment, settle your disputes in the presence of your Lord. 31
