Is he whose chest Allah has expanded to Islam, so that he walks upon a light from his Lord (as those whose heart is sealed)? But woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the Remembrance of Allah! Those are in clear error. 22 Allah hath revealed the most excellent discourse, a Book consimilar oft-repeated, whereat trembleth the skins of these who fear their Lord; then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of Allah. This is Allah's guidance, wherewith He guideth whomsoever He will. And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there is no guide. 23 Is he whose face is cautious of the evil of the punishment on the Day of Resurrection (to be compared to the unbeliever)! To the evildoers it shall be said: 'Now taste that which you have been earning' 24 Those before them had denied, therefore the punishment came to them from a place they did not know. 25 So Allah made them to taste the disgrace in the present life, but greater is the torment of the Hereafter if they only knew! 26 And We have indeed illustrated examples of all kinds in this Qur’an, so that they may ponder. 27 A clear discourse which expounds all things without any obliquity, so that they may take heed for themselves. 28 Allah puts forth a Parable a man belonging to many partners at variance with each other, and a man belonging entirely to one master: are those two equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! but most of them have no knowledge. 29 Lo! thou wilt die, and lo! they will die; 30 then on the Day of Resurrection before your Lord you shall dispute. 31

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
