What! is he whose heart Allah has opened for Islam so that he is in a light from his Lord (like the hard-hearted)? Nay, woe to those whose hearts are hard against the remembrance of Allah; those are in clear error. 22 Allah has revealed (from time to time) the most beautiful Message in the form of a Book, consistent with itself, (yet) repeating (its teaching in various aspects): the skins of those who fear their Lord tremble thereat; then their skins and their hearts do soften to the celebration of Allah's praises. Such is the guidance of Allah: He guides therewith whom He pleases, but such as Allah leaves to stray, can have none to guide. 23 Is he who guards himself with his face against the evil of the chastisement on the Day of Resurrection...? And it is said to the evildoers, 'Taste now that you were earning!' 24 Those before them had denied, then punishment had overtaken them is from a quarter they did not suspect. 25 Then God made them taste of disgrace in this life; and the torment of the life to come is greater, if they understand. 26 We have set forth to men all kinds of parables in this Quran so that they may take heed: 27 A Lecture in Arabic, containing no crookedness, that haply they may ward off (evil). 28 Allah sets forth an example: There is a slave in whom are (several) partners differing with one another, and there is another slave wholly owned by one man. Are the two alike in condition? (All) praise is due to Allah. Nay! most of them do not know. 29 Surely you shall die and they (too) shall surely die. 30 Then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will be disputing before your Lord. 31
