۞ Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers? 32 And he who brings the truth and (he who) accepts it as the truth-- these are they that guard (against evil). 33 They shall have all that they wish for, in the presence of their Lord: such is the reward of those who do good: 34 That through this Promise Allah may expiate from them the worst of that which they may have worked, and may recompense them their hire for the best of that which they have been working. 35 IS NOT God enough for His servant? And yet, they would frighten thee with those [imaginary divine powers which they worship] beside Him! But he whom God lets go astray can never find any guide, 36 And whoever Allah guides - for him there is no misleader. Is not Allah Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution? 37 If you ask them who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely reply, "God." Say, "Consider those you invoke besides Him: if God wished to harm me, could they undo that harm? Or if God wished to show me mercy, could they withhold that mercy?" Say, "God is sufficient for me. In Him let the faithful put their trust." 38 Say: "O people, act as best you can on your part, I am acting too. You will come to know in time 39 who it is that shall be visited [in this world] by suffering which will cover him with ignominy, and upon whom long-lasting suffering shall alight [in the life to come]!" 40 We have Sent down this Book to you with the truth for all mankind. So, he who comes to guidance does so for himself, and he who goes astray does so for his own loss; on you does not lie their guardianship. 41
