۞ Who is then more unjust than he who utters a lie against Allah and (he who) gives the lie to the truth when it comes to him; is there not in hell an abode for the unbelievers? 32 Those who have brought the truth and have acknowledged it are those who have fear of God. 33 They shall have all that they will desire with their Lord. That is the reward of Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 34 That Allah may remove from them the worst of what they did and reward them their due for the best of what they used to do. 35 Is not Allah Sufficient for His slave? And they threaten you with others beside Him! And whomever Allah sends astray – there is no guide for him. 36 And whom Allah guides, there is none that can lead him astray; is not Allah Mighty, the Lord of retribution? 37 If you ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will surely answer: “Allah.” Tell them: “What do you think, then, of the deities whom you call upon instead of Allah? If Allah should will that an affliction befall me, will those deities remove the harm inflicted by Him? Or if Allah should will that I receive (His) Mercy, will they be able to withhold His Mercy from me?” Say: “Allah is sufficient for me; those who have to put their trust, let them put their trust in Him. 38 Say: "O people, act as best you can on your part, I am acting too. You will come to know in time 39 who it is that shall be visited [in this world] by suffering which will cover him with ignominy, and upon whom long-lasting suffering shall alight [in the life to come]!" 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
