۞ Who is then more unjust than he who utters a lie against Allah and (he who) gives the lie to the truth when it comes to him; is there not in hell an abode for the unbelievers? 32 He who brings the truth and verifies it, -- such are the people who are God-fearing. 33 They shall have what they wish from their Lord. This is the recompense for the good, 34 So that Allah may remit from them the evil of what they did and give them the reward, according to the best of what they used to do. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His servant? And they seek to frighten you with those besides Him; and whomsoever Allah makes err, there is no guide for him. 36 whereas he whom God guides aright can never be led astray. Is not God almighty, an avenger of evil? 37 If you ask them: “Who created the heavens and the earth?” they will surely answer: “Allah.” Tell them: “What do you think, then, of the deities whom you call upon instead of Allah? If Allah should will that an affliction befall me, will those deities remove the harm inflicted by Him? Or if Allah should will that I receive (His) Mercy, will they be able to withhold His Mercy from me?” Say: “Allah is sufficient for me; those who have to put their trust, let them put their trust in Him. 38 Say: 'My people, act according to your station; I am acting; and soon you will know 39 upon whom the punishment will come that will degrade him, and who will be overtaken by an everlasting punishment' 40 Surely We have revealed to you the Book with the truth for the sake of men; so whoever follows the right way, it is for his own soul and whoever errs, he errs only to its detriment; and you are not a custodian over them. 41
