۞ Say thou: my bondmen who have committed extravagance against themselves despair not of the mercy of Allah; verily Allah will forgive the sins altogether. Verily He! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 “And incline towards your Lord and submit to Him, before the punishment comes you and then you may not be helped.” 54 And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly while you do not perceive, 55 lest anyone should say, "Alas for me, for having neglected what is due to God, and having been one of those who scoffed!" 56 Or it should say: Had Allah guided me, I would certainly have been of those who guard (against evil); 57 Or say on seeing the punishment: "If I could only return I would be among the good." 58 (But now the answer will be): Nay, for My revelations came unto thee, but thou didst deny them and wast scornful and wast among the disbelievers. 59 If you see those who had imputed lies to God on the Day of Resurrection, black would be their faces (with disgrace). Is there not a place in Hell for the arrogant? 60 But God will deliver them who feared Him to their place of salvation. No evil shall touch them, nor shall they grieve. 61 GOD is the Creator of all things, and He alone has the power to determine the fate of all things. 62 His are the keys of the heavens and the earth and those who disbelieve in the revelations of Allah - those! they are the losers. 63
