۞ Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 53 Turn towards your Lord and obey Him before the punishment comes upon you when you will not be helped. 54 Follow the best of what has been revealed to you by your Lord before the punishment overtakes you suddenly and you are caught unawares, 55 Lest a soul should say, "Oh [how great is] my regret over what I neglected in regard to Allah and that I was among the mockers." 56 Or (lest) he should say: "If only Allah had guided me, I should indeed have been among the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2)." 57 Or, lest when it sees the punishment should say: 'O that I might return, and be among those that did good' 58 God will reply to the soul, "My revelations had certainly come to you but you rejected them. You were puffed-up with pride and you became an unbeliever". 59 And upon the Day of Resurrection thou shalt see those who lied against God, their faces blackened; is there not in Gehenna a lodging for those that are proud? 60 But God shall deliver those that were godfearing in their security; evil shall not visit them, neither shall they sorrow. 61 God is the Creator of all things, He has charge of everything; 62 In His hands are the keys of the treasuries of the heavens and the earth. Those who reject God's revelations will be lost. 63
